LAST MILE DELIVERY
Last Mile Delivery refers to the last step of the delivery process. Moving the package from one destination to its final stop; usually, a residential address or business. Last Mile Delivery can range from a few blocks to more than 50 miles. Last-mile logistics assist shippers to get their products to consumers or businesses quicker and more cost-effectively. Delivery between 50 and 200 pounds is particularly cost-effective to ship with Swift! As a Regional Carrier, Swift is able to be flexible on pick-up and delivery times and adjust to any special delivery requests that a National Shipper such as FedEx or UPS just cannot offer.
